Whenever I meet buyers, this is the most common question I get these days.
And I understand the concerns. So I would like to provide my take on the current market and why I believe this is the perfect time for buyers.

First, months of inventory.
This is the first time in a long while(in fact first time since 2012) where months of inventory has risen to 4 months in our local areas. 6mo is considered a balanced market where the supply of new listings and purchases are “balanced”. So it is technically still considered a seller’s market, but that is the Bay Area where demand exceeds supply perpetually. In reality, It has never been so buyer friendly in quite a while.
There are great properties on the market, in every price range and buyers can actually negotiate instead of going into a bidding war!
